depends on individual's liking for the bike..

for myself..this is my 2nd vara..

my first bike was vara..den changed to X9 and now vara again..

reason being i dun really fancy riding a 2B sportsbike or phantom(no offence)

most people might think tat its a waste of $ spending so much on a 2B bike

varadero_1984 i htink your nick must change to [vara84] .. ;) easier to type..*hehe*

Anyways i never quite understood why from vara125 u change to X9 then to vara125 (again)

and the best part, u did lose any $$$ while making that change..

anyways [fleaz], if you like vara125, its a good tie to get now, so far there are 2 riders selling their vara125, so can get a cheaper 2nd hand one, back when i was getting vara125, cant even find any 2nd hand, too new..

anyways, i find vara125, its really a nice city riding road bike, personally i feel its made for the matured people, cos it quiet, easy to ride, nice riding posture, looks nicer with a box..

but if you just want to speed, need to get high at 150km/h then dont bother lah, if your the type that likes to speed, i suggest get a cheap rxz endure for 1 yr then set 2A then get CBR 400 or some other 400cc sports bike.. that should be your path..

for me personally i feel the fact that my bike, cant really pick up like other sports bike and cant go beyond 120km/h makes me not bother to speed or try stuff, which i personally feel unintentionally makes me a safer rider,

my 2 cents worth anyways...

;)

btw juz curious, wats the topspeed for varadero 125? hws the performance like?

Philosophy A: Ignore what everyone else thinks. Riding is a better way to get around. Ride paranoid and keep your skills sharp

Philosophy B: Ride with somebody who's better than you. You will pick up a handy trick or new skill just about every time you are out

Philosophy C: You don't need a big bike to prove ur passion for riding

Posted

top speed around 120km/h..den performance wise alright lah..cos not a sportsbike..dun expect much from it..

Well, vara is not a sportbike, but you can do some mod to improve its performance. Well, as you would like to check up with vara125 or lucifer. According to my experience, just tell me what is the max speed limit that you are able to travel in SG, sad to say, even if you go at 100kmh, you will try to keep a look out, as you tends to go beyond the limit. Well, only place that you can go for the speed is in 2nd link to Malaysia, it's speed limit is 100~110kmh. Thus you can test all machine there.

My vara is been mod with 02 boosters, which has double what normal bike needs, by the way guys, I have tested my max speed, but very scared lah while travelling in the speed of 130kmh... very scared of TP ratar gun, if kana, my licence also can protect lah...

Niti, I will post the address shortly ok, now busy with my course work and exam coming soon..... Full Time Work, Part Time study..

Welcome to the world of acidsburn
