Transfer of ownership procedure

Hi guys wanna ask,An old friend of mine is resigning soon by month end and he is giving his bike to me with no more instalment left.But he dont wanna go LTA as its such a hassle due to his work schedule.He live in Bedok and only willing to go either Tampines or Changi Rd motorshop to transfer.What i got from him is only photocopy documents of his Malaysian IC,His license,His Insurance but as far i can remember i need to bring him along for the signature process right?Roughly how much is the cost?Bike is RXZ by the way and can i use his insurance(add as subrider) till it expired in June?Hope someone can help.BTW i;m 35 with 16 years riding exp and he is 40 with 7 years exp of riding/driving in Singapore:thumb:

from what i know-

u can just get the transfer slip/paper from lta for him

& bring it to him to sign..n get bk to lta..to get it done..

shouldnt be a problem.

you can print the transfer papers online frm lta get his signature and ic and do it for him. rxz should be very cheap aroubd 20 or less.
