Motorcycle Pricing

Hi,

 

I'm from the UK and will be moving to Singapore shortly. I have a Suzuki GSXR600 2010 in the UK and I'm trying to work out if it's going to be cheaper to ship my motorcycle to Singapore or to buy a different one when I get there. My bike only have about 3000KM on the clock at the moment and I've only had it for 6 months from new. Does anyone know prices for GSXR600, CBR600 motorcycles? OTR prices? Also, how much approx will a new or good second hand GSR600 be?

Is it approx 18K SGD for a new GSXR600??? or GSR600?? thanks for your help. Also is the price inclusive of COE and any other taxes etc???

Just been on Singapore Bike Mart website and I ques that's only for the bike excluding COE etc.

I reckon you sell your bike in UK and buy a new one is singapore...Prices of bike worldwide is about the same...

If you bring your bike over you have to pay:

Shipping cost

COE

Import tax

Inspection tax

Registration

and the list goes on....

To safe you the hassle, buy a new one...

Oh yes...you also have to take our traffic police theory test before you can convert your license

Hi niemandj, welcome. i am afraid first you need to pass the class 2b first then followed by class2. even if you have years o experience riding in england, you need to wait at least 2 years to ride your 600s. so it is best, that you sell your bike first. but incase you really want to bring, in the web there is 1 British who actually brought his BM here. maybe if you just google you can find him out. sorry , i will try to find out and google him out again and tell you about it. but i believe it is really a hassle.
