Time to Change the CHAIN

Hi all Cruiser rider,

My shadow400 chain due to be change soon and i guess some other cruiser rider too.Need advise on the type and pricing.

 

What type of chain do you use and how long does it last?? 6mth or more....

Care to share with us SBF members.

Have been window shopping around for the pricing; aspoon quote $230 use oring wan,shorter chain.Another changi rd motortiam quote $180 use oring wan,gold chain color,long chain. All with installation.

 

Care to advise???? or recommend????

do u guys usually change chin and sprocket together???

 

or is it just chain.... if the chain is old?

I'll prob need to do my in a couple of months..... not to mentions new rear tyres too....

Few things i dun get... how did they quote you long or short chain?

 

Your chain length is determined by your sprockets sizes.

Go to your regular bike shop.

Good prices at other shops do not mean good service or quality.
