Gear changing in clutchless cub

Guys, if the cub is clutchless and i find it hard to kick up gear and kicking down is hard also, what is the causes of it? Is it engine oil? Or clutchplate? As its clutchless, there is no clutch cable to adjust. So im cnfused if its clutch plate or engine oil? I just change my engine oil to 15-40. Is it too thick?

Check engine oil level. Even with clutch and engine oil level is too high you have problem changing gear. Engine oil rating 10-40 or 20-50 is fine. Usually 10-40 is for engine below 5 years old.

So which means i have to lower the engine oil level? how much to pour in ?

All engines has either a dip-stick or viewing window. For cub, its usually a dip-stick where you unscrew a cap to pour in the engine oil. Read up the owner's manual or check with the shop you bought the bike from. It could be due to other factors.
