1. You will need to pay 1300 to retain your number plate with bike registration.

2. Max period is one year. Subsequent annual renewal is 1000

3. If you buy new bike, tell the shop and 100 will be used to transfer the plate over. 1200 will be refunded to your bank acount

4. If you buy old bike, all 1300 will be spent to transfer the your number plate over. 0 dollar refund

No 4 should not be applicable to me I guess..

So it means I can retain the plate as long as I can, just by paying 1k per year?

Or if I just straightaway gets a new bike, I just gotto pay 100 to get my plate over?

if u get a new bike, you pay only 100 buck to swap the number.

Ya, In my opinion, its definitely not economical to pay 1000 every year to them just to keep your old number plate active. It will be good to buy a new bike and pay 100 to transfer it over. By the way your 1300 payment is valid for 1 year. COE should dip by March 2012 liao

ya, m thinking of getting a new bike n just pay the 100 for it..

if just pay 1300 to retain it for a yr, y not pay a few hundred more to renew my current bike coe..
