Hi all, just enrolled for my 2B at CDC yesterday, and was told that they no longer provide helmet for lessons, and we would need to buy our own. Is this true? As im learning behind my parent's back, and do not have a place to store my helmet at home. Alternatively is there any lockers where i can lock my helmet at CDC? Thanks in advance!

U got a locker in school/work? I also learnt without parents' consent. I even passed and bought a bike w/o them knowing.

Only tio caught one day when passing under ERP and forgot to put in cash card. The summons came in the mail... U will confirm get found out one day. Just a matter of time.

Thanks for the prompt reply guys, im currently in NS and thus do not have a locker at my workplace to keep my helmet. Intended to learn bike as I find it a cheap and convenient form of transport as compared to taking the public transport. Would look into the possibility of telling my parents. Thanks for the advise! ;)

No need. You can use driving centre's helmet :)

Hi, but apparently CDC no longer provides helmet for practical. So i was thinking if i need then i would get it first before booking the circuit orientation..

Circuit orientation don't need helmet.

Anyway, you will only start to go for your lessons if you had passed your BTT. If you do not have BTT, you cannot book any lesson yet.

So you got your BTT already?

Do i need to pass RTT before i can book prac 8 ?

Nope. But you won't be able to book TP without passing both RTT and prac 8..

When I am taking my 2b also got ppl say need RTT then can go for pract 6. Lol.

Best is ask the instructor about when must get RTT and/or attend the 3 DRT lessons.

Understand that there are serveral changes since 2011 (read from this forum).

I registered on the May/June12. If there is no changes lately, DRT have to be completed before going for Lesson 6 onwards because you have to learn how to ride safely and defensively on road.

And you have to pass your RTT (test) and complete lesson 8 before you can book TP test.

I heard that the centre is booked for MHA project.

That's why they only release 1 test date weekly or biweekly.

Bo bian, wait lo..

Hi all, I'm now at lesson 4, anyone has some tips on getting the correct techiques? I went for it 3 times already, By 3rd time I finally can get onto the plank and stay on it smoothly, but still too fast, must be more than 6 seconds . When I try to go faster on pylon to meet the timing, I end up losing control and hitting the cones. For the e-brake not too bad, just need to improve on posture.
