How stuffs work might not apply to all cameras. Ok maybe you are correct. From my understanding, it takes both pictures when each sensor is activated.

but still, it is impossible to for the driver to be charged for speeding.

is it true that if u go very slow pass a red light then cam wont flash?happen to me twice, but no flash.

the concept is there, just the implementation a bit diff. we dont have cam in front n i suspect the 2nd sensor might be a weight sensor.

if it's a weight sensor, it might explain why bikes r harder to detect, cos it's lighter.

@three, if tp has 2 dept, 1 for charging red lights, 1 for speeding, then u'll never get both, but they are the same. that's why dashing red light is very dangerous, there might be more than 1 penalty involved. speeding, reckless driving all comes in when there's hard proof. it's really up to tp wants to give chance or not.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

you can see the sensor loops in the ground. it's the black lines.

there are typically a few long horizontal boxes running the length of the road. Right after the vehicle stop line and before the pedestrian crossing line.

There's the empty space where you can see 2 sets of lengthwise boxes.

Trip both sets and the camera fires off 2 shots to capture you going through the junction.

Both sensors are EM sensors, not weight sensors.

Some bikes might not trigger cuz more plastic, not enough metal to disturb the field sensors.

If you trigger both sensors and stop just right at the edge of the junction, it'll show you still there in the 2nd photo.

Not 1 sensor = 1 camera.

No they can't. 2 pictures are taken to show that you actually beat the lights. If you manage to stop even after the first photo was taken and the other camera did not activate, fine won't be issued.

i quite agree with three reply. last year i did a jam brake near the lake side MRT there. My bike was over these 2 white line. The camera sum how didnt work.

some poles r dummy. the camera equipment is too expensive so not every pole is equiped. heard they move the camera around.

If still afraid and wanna have a peace of mine, why not check EDDIES where you can have access to whether you have any outstanding summons against you or you vehicles?
