Hi scooterist, I've just checked with Mah Pte (distributor for SYM) and they mentioned for SYM's new batch of scoots, they only bring in GTS and Fighter, Mio was never in at all according to them.

 

Btw, the one you saw on the road is it another model? Cuz Mio actually looks quite identical to this scoot Aprilia Mojito which I've attached the pic below:

Thanks sweetie, anyway im so sure i saw it, its exactly the same colour also. Even took a few picture of it. And its FBA plate. And i went to check and found out is SYM.

Thanks recko, its kinda hard to find GTS 2nd hand too yeah? simply love the look of GTS, but doubting my own ability of handling the bike itself, especially just passed not long ago. Won't bear to risk the idea of dropping my precious GTS on the first year of riding.

 

Thats why thought of getting cubs during first year as temporary resorts cos thinking it would be good for me to train up my riding skill before handling a bigger bike.

 

But worth giving it a try though, can' wait to be in SYM club.

I've checked the dealer locater section in the SYM homepage and it didn't state Singapore. Maybe it's parallel imported? :confused:

Yeah i thought so too, can parallel import motorbikes also right? thats the website i went to find this SYM Mio. :weep: that mean only have 3 months agent warranty if really have parallel import, and where got do parallel import? . :confused:

heh* Kenny shop is at beside Lim Ah boy's repair shop there right? Future scootering sells GTS also? If so, i think my sis and i will probably be going down to check it out this saturday. Need appointment? :smile: :cheeky:

City riding should be fun and not so for expressway as you might have to keep to the extreme left most of the time and that's where the heavy vehicles are. :help:

Haha, to be frank, I know nuts abt parallel import. :cheeky: Btw, it's Mah Pte, not Mah motor. Ppl always got confused between these 2, hee...

 

I wouldn't dare say it's cheaper or more ex, but 1 thing for sure, as they're the distributor, going back to them if there's anything wrong with your SYM scoot shld be more convenient (if you're getting one). :smile:

My IU pouch seemed fitted juz nice and doesn't seemed to allow extra space for the protruding part of the cashcard reminder... :smile:
