PSB issues with helmet!

hi guys got a few question.

 

saw a helmet online, ICON full face helmet. really interested in it.

Saw from SG shop is at 7xx SGD with PSB sticker.

Saw another one online from another country, same manufacturer. but alot cheaper! 5xx USD. Will this cause any issues with local authority since it is already available here??

I guess not. There are some models of Arai which comes in two variations, PSB approved and not approved available locally.

If you're afraid, dun use it on local roads.

 

But since u mentioned its a full-face helmet, i think it SHOULD be ok.

 

Just wanna share u my story......

i'm personally using an AGV S4-SV full face helmet. Got stopped in a TP roadblock few weeks backs, and not once did he inspect my helmet. Curiously enough, my frens open face PSB approved helmet got a verbal warning for his tinted visor. His tint wasn't the whole visor, just the top part had a light tint to block out the sun. strange huh?

 

I'm not saying the local authorities will not find fault with you for not wearing a PSB approved helmet.

 

Wat i'm saying is, use it at your own risk.
