Hai I am still stuck at Prac 1..

 

Can anyone tell me how to release the bike off the mainstand properly?? I cannot seem to have the strength to do so.. Even when I park the bike, the bike is forever like gg to collapse.. I think yest prac my bike fell so many times, until the instructors so du lan with me..

Hey, u taking in BBDC?? today got lesson?

 

 

 

i think the raincoat is cos of individual not instructor? so far i only see one case lei... unless rainy day then i guess is a must bah.. anyway dun think they can FORCE u to wear lei

Hi.. to release bike off main stand..

 

If u are the one who last park the bike, ALWAYS make sure is at neutral instead of 1st. cos if gear is at 1st, it will be MORE HEAVY.

 

if is not due to this problem,

 

 

1) make sure ur bike is straight,

2) it is flat one the road. ie the stand 'leg" both "leg" is on the ground before u step on it

3) use the ball of ur foot

4) of course is to use ur strength.

5) hope the above helps:smile:

no i'm not taking lessons there, happen to be near there. UNDER THE SCORCHING SUN 33+degrees celcius wear raincoat??? why?? not one but a few.

maybe coz they not wearing long sleeve shirts?

 

coz i tot i saw a notice in BBDC that bike trainees must wear long sleeve shirts during prac?? but i not beri sure la..

wha heng SSDC dun need to wear long sleeve shirt..coz it can be beri hot to wear long sleeves to for prac leh..esp in first few pracs where u keep haf to paddle e bike like siao.. :sweat:

 

but wear raincoat under hot sun is no joke leh.. so sticky

stand on the left handside of the bike, grab handle bars with both hands with right hand fingers on brake lever, have a good footing on ground, your thigh near the tank, make sure front wheel is off the ground, upper body lean forward and push the bike with momentum, as bike move forward and u hear the mainstand hitting the bike, quickly press front brakes. turn handlebar very slightly towards u.
