last time i dun practise on the eve on TP... cauz i think sometimes, a small break may allow u to perform better.... so i alwaz practise 2 days before the TP..... take a break on the eve.... and TP!!!!!!!!!!

 

but juz my own opinion, normally people go for revision on the eve.....

no choice la, want licence then got to spend $$ and time to complete its lor.

after got licence, need to spend $$ and time to look for bike and buy it.

after got bike, need to spend $$ and time to buy petrol and take care/wash bike. :cheeky:

Just for everyone's information - this free session will be offered by the instructor IC to graduates of the school on the day you pass. Sessions are normally on the following week at 240pm...must sign up on the spot....or else cannot get later on.

 

6 people signed up for this monday slot (max number of people) but on dat day only 2 people turned up...mainly another guy and me. Instructor came to check also sianz 1/2 coz he told us only to write if we were serious...but later on he was telling us it's not surprising coz most pple wld get their own bikes after dat and they prob wouldn't come for it liaoz. No surprise dat both of us who turned up are still bike-less lor.

 

Nevertheless, i still feel it's useful whether u have a bike or not guys and gals, if u can do sign up, but if u don't want to come or cannot make it, pls don't write down the name lorz, den later put aeroplane.

 

This session we wore a different SSDC tag and got to use the P-plate bikes lor....somehow i feel dat the condition of my bike seems to be better...changing gear is smoother and everything feels looser. Instructor gave us a briefing about our route...mainly up to YCK road...den go to SLE den KJE turn out stop outside turf club...refreshment...and back again.

 

Instructor Ho ( i think) told us dat we most prob would go up to 80km/h...and though we may find it fast but still have to get used to it. Told us to be careful also...coz the turn-out to KJE quite steep slope...he ever got some trainees also fell down@ dat slope b4...freaked me out a little so in the end i decided to wear elbow knee guards although it's not required. Took some time b4 going to warm up.....instructor was like - last chance to go around circuit liaoz...so go and have fun! But only managed to do slope, crank course and figure 8...no e-brake, pylon and plank. Strangely, it feels really different to do all the courses without the stress of passing lesson or TP hanging over my head. Makes me realise dat we are quite stressed while doing all dat....in a relaxed environment, mebbe it may even be fun!

 

Went out wif Power ranger Ho and Andrew after dat.....Andrew riding the Class 2 bike. I must say riding on the expressway at a speed higher den 60 is quite scary coz it's a first time for me. Instructor Ho was warning us dat actually our 2b bike is quite light and at high speed, bike is literally zipping off the road surface. And it's quite true....wif lorries, buses, taxis.....u can feel dat our 2b bike is actually not dat stable at high speed! Best of all, started to rain, stopped under flyover for a while....one TP also there...looked at us den din bother...think also hiding from the rain. Power ranger ask if need rain coat but both of us decided to continue.

 

Reached the infamous slope at exit of KJE...quite steep really...i slowed down until 50-60....lucky everything ok.... Power ranger Ho in front, the other student , den me, den power ranger Andrew. Later stopped outside the Turf Club...really nothing much to see...hehe....juz saw the track and we were stopping by the road-side....and Instructors offered us each a packet drink lor...den juz stood there a while chatting about expressway riding and buying bikes....they asked us what bike we wanted to buy and gave some advice.

 

Super a lot of TP dat day on the expressway...saw one police car with flashing lights speeding to chase someone also...and also saw one more TP when exiting KJE and another on our way back.

 

It started raining real heavily on the return trip, luckily we put on rain coats when we stopped for a drink...but the rain drops damn painful sia...like bullets...coz it's heavy torrential rain...and shoes and gloves all dripping wet after dat. It's a bit scary riding in the rain...and so many vehicles who are juz swerving in and out...taxis, lorries and even those Malaysian kup kias who even tried to cut our short convoy. And when those heavy vehicles pass...really can sway your whole bike man....i tink now i don't really wanna call the CG titan heavy any more Coupled wif heavy rain...there were heavy crosswinds across the expressway really have to grip handlebar tight, esp when we went up to 80-plus km/h.

 

But going out wif power rangers really good sia....Andrew is like trying to help me out all the way....when changing lane he changed early and block vehicle behind for me to change coz i slow mah... den when a lorry tried to cut into 2nd lane in front of me, i was worried and slowed down...he even zoomed ahead and blocked the lorry's way for us on the left. I tink i still cannot make it on the expressway so really glad to have another pair of eyes looking out for me.

 

Good experience man...and instructors are quite obliging....for those who want intro to expressway riding can juz go for it if you're free!

A little strange to be going back after passing...when riding in the circuit wif the P-plate, instructors who never taught me b4 also can call out to me "Wah.....qualified rider already sia?!" First go report also saw some instructors and they were like "Back so soon ah? What now? Expressway riding?" And my Lesson 2 instructor...sitting at the counter smiling so widely until i paiseh and ask him " why u smiling?", den he said "like to smile, smile lor, why?"

 

Later i caught up wif him after lesson and asked him " Sir, I want to ask u something? U remember me from lesson 2 anot?" He scratched his head and said "No, but i think got teach u b4. U lesson 2 must be some time back right? And since teach u b4 sure got some impression lor." Haha...damn paiseh .....den i juz ask him lor " Sir u remember last time u took me for lesson 2 first lesson i buang like nobody's business?" See his face sure he forgot liaoz...but anyway he quite nice talk to me for a while lor...ask me abt TP and gave some advice about bike....think he's quite happy dat i passed liaoz too.

 

It's nice 2 juz catch up wif some instructors whom without mebbe I wouldn't have made it lor. Think it's nice to share wif them dat i passed and dat can share the happiness and let them noe dat they made a difference.

 

Juz some thoughts ......haha.......long-winded again. Cheers everyone!

Yes think they only have it on wkdays 240pm.....coz think den is off-peak periods...and the instructors do OT to come back and pei us...hehe.....yupz have to sacrifice leave lor....juz be prepared if u wanna go

the expressway riding course sounds like fun but too bad i had to give it a miss. anyway, my first experience with the expressway wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. guess because i was already driving before. even with my TA200, i already found it to be unstable at high speeds (usually around 100kmh, no balls to go higher), cannot imagine the CG125.
