I also wanna share my good news ! Ok lah no big deal but I passed my lesson 7 !!! Soooo happy!!! Hahahah from my 1st lesson i repeat 7 times .. i cant believe i took 2 times to pass lesson 6 only. Thanks for the U turn tips!! I remembered what u all said abt U turns and UndeadArcher said abt speeding cars and buses...heheh today my road lesson i got more guts to ride faster!!

nonono...

 

that's where you're wrong. i believe with it being computerised, results should be out immediately. so all testees now can save 2 weeks. so good hor....i also a bit jealous. but who cares? i pass means pass.

 

actually i kind of prefer paper to computer. at least got chance for some answers (whether right or wrong, at least got some "reference")

turnip do u normally book morning lessons? i like afternoon lessons when I'm wide awake so can ride better but then its also convenient for me as I got tutorials or lectures in morning normally.

 

My next lesson is wednesday 22 july 6.55pm. Hope to see u there!

oh... like tat instant noe pass or fail also gd lar...

 

but paper also not bad... can refer to answers... but not everytime correct de...

i want to speed also cannot. phantom at 100kmh already like a big fat vibrator and engine sounds totally stressed out. no balls to maintain even 100kmh for long so how to be caught for speeding?

 

Basic is very much theory, a lot of memory work needed. Advance on the other hand, I feel is less theory, a lot of the questions are actually kind of common sense. Just choose the safest answer. And of course, with the booklet, got sample answers for reference.

 

angel22: don't bother memorising the route yet. the purpose of lesson 7 is to get you introduced to the route. just roughly know where to go can liao.

 

basically the route is something like that:

 

1) Complete circuit (not needed in lesson 7)

2) Exit circuit by gate (6 riders can exit - 3 on each side)

3) Turn right (signal beforehand)

4) At stopline, turn right into ave 9 (inch out if you cannot move off immediately)

5) Travel along ave 9, filter to left lane before reaching traffic light stop (common sense lah)

6) Turn left into ave 6, filter to centre lane (note: there are three traffic light stops on ave 6)

7) After 2nd traffic light stop on ave 6, filter into extreme right lane to prepare for U turn at the next traffic light stop (traffic can be very unforgiving here)

8) After U turn, continue down ave 6, prepare to turn left into st 61, filter to extreme left lane after you pick up speed

9) Once in st 61, you would have to make a stop at one of the signs (can't remember what sign is that, but instructor will definitely tell you about it. this stop is not required for TP)

10) Continue down st 61, beware of traffic, i have encountered vehicles that suddenly stop without warning (be careful of bus as well, don't stop unnecessarily, if bus just stopped, can just go ahead)

11) Reach another stopline, turn right into ave 9 (inch out if you cannot move off immediately)

12) At the traffic light stop, i think only can accomodate maximum 2 bikes until reach yellow box (just be careful lor, stopping in yellow box is immediate failure)

13) Continue along ave 9, after the bus stop, there should be another stop at one of the signs (can't remember what sign is that, but instructor will definitely tell you about it. this stop is not required for TP)

14) Continue along ave 9, then turn left at the junction

15) Go back to circuit through gate, only 4 bikes at each time

 

I probably missed out some details since it's been some time since my TP. But it should serve as a rough guide. whew! what a long post. hands tired out from so much typing.

it's good that you passed your rtt early. i actually also procrastinated for quite a while before finally passing just before my lesson 5.
