1 time with only 2 points.

 

but i dont think that there is an average number of times that you should tried before instructor pass you.

 

as long you dont have any imm failure and do to many mistake. surely will pass 1.

good luck for your next attempt.

 

BTW, are you joining them for outing??

Now the reply to the important part, because the quote is simply too long, i'm just omitting it.

 

I passed my TP on the 9th of June and only went to shop for a bike on the 18th of June. In between was the number of days that took me to convince my parents to let me ride.

 

I must say I have been a pretty good boy since young and therefore just based on this, it made talking to them much easier. Similarly to your case, my parents also tried to dissuade me from riding by sharing their experiences on the road. btw, both my parents don't ride and have always been rather anti-riding. They would go blah blah blah and I would go yada yada yada. A few days prior to buying my bike, my parents gave me a few terms and conditions that I had to follow. Of course, most of them I didn't follow and they don't really care about it since so far I have proven to be quite a safe rider (expect just once). One of the reasons why I got a phantom is also because of the term and conditions. I had really wanted to get a RS125 but I'm kind of glad I didn't. Imagine where would I put all my barang.

Claudiagoh pretty true ard 4 times then most ppl pass L5 is my own survey la coz sometimes L5 i will ask the ppl 'hey u hw mani times already ah'? then they will either said 4 or 5th times liaoz..

tink i go my own will bring helmet along in case got nice ppl wana pillion mi hm..

actually, i doubt that phatom is a safe bike.

 

due to the construction, most of the bike weight will be at the back wheel, during

E-brake, if the back wheel skid, its will skid side way and cause your bike to buang.

dont treat that like i suan-ing you or hao lian to you.

 

riding bike is not that if you clever and can handle its. its that the confidence and tactics to handle its.

 

we all know that in SSDC, althought the bikes are the same but the condition all different.

we need to adjust ours technics to handle it well.

2 times...first time 34 points, 2nd time 10 points....took both on Sundays within one week of each other...

but my L8 take 3 times to pass...

i too took a long time to pass my 2B, but that doesn't mean that i will not be able to ride well in the future....

 

juz that the bikes in the driving centres are extremely lousy....

 

so those still on the way to your license, juz perservere.....

all bikes are not safe if u look at it.....cruisers are safer coz they are not built to speed....hence tendency of rider speeding is lesser as it's harder for the engine to pick up very fast and maintain very high speeds (but of course they still can reach relatively high speeds) ....and the pillon seats are not made like sports bike where the pillons look like they will fly off any moment if they don't hold on tight...see RS125 if u want an example of a pillon seat dat well....no pillon wants to sit on....

 

each bike got their own characteristics....u muz noe ur bike well..actually to be more exact, u should noe the limits of your bike well...if for example, u ride a phantom and de end is heavy.....and u still ride fast in rainy weather and jam rear brake super hard...den u are really asking for trouble......

 

i would tink dat for sportsbikes in general...de balance and speed ergonomics are better...but de riding posture is most literally a pain in de back.....altho u really feel u are "one with your bike"...

 

last time i go riding lessons, will have wrist pain, finger-joint pain initially from holding half clutch for very long in circuit courses and putting my weight forward without relaxing shoulders...now pass out and ride bike....it's not my fingers dat are aching after a ride, it's my back....but tink need some time to get used to....
