Hi, just wana share dat me body specs same like urs, give or take a few kilos.

May I now wat kind of centre stand ru using. Different stands differ slightly when mounting up. Main lesson to note is to find the CG point between u and the fatgerl without getting a hernia injury. And next is the swing motion according to ur individual style.

Anyways, welcome to the tread.. Yancurly here sharing...

I have no idea how to tell which stand that was specifically. Will find out. Which one is easiest?

It looks like an original Honda stand. Is that the easier of harder one?

just for sharing, I got my vara 3 months back, did not manage to pull it up..unless 2 pax. Finally went to weld 2 rockers at the end, cost me 40 bucks. Now work like wonders. I suspected my main stand was modified before as the welder noticed different and cut off 2 inches.

Same here. Rockers, no. But knockers, a resounding YES!

normally at the foot of the main stand there should be something like a triangle shape. This triangle shape is used as pivot point. Not sure whether yours is the same issue. As I noticed mine does not have this triangle shape...will try to post a pic if I have a chance to do it..

With triangle.jpg, as compared to this? With the pivot triangle? The welder must be also experience to know the height adjustment of your vara..as previoua owner may increae the height of the bike with externsion kit...for sharing purposes only..hope it helps...

Hello vara friends.

I'm shah from ipoh perak.

My '04 vara now needs to change rear suspension.

And since it's very hard to get vara stuffs in MY, i'm planning to get the changes in SG.

Pls advise me which brand of rear suspension suits with our vara & how much does it cost.

Thank you.

Just that small piece makes all the difference? I'll go check later and see if that piece is present. Thanks man!

just PM you the address and tel number, hope he can help you..as for how the small little piece make a diff, get your friend who has a main stand demo in slow motion for you...the pivoting point is crucial..also the over height of the stand of course..

Luckily, you fix it, don't need our help to put it to mainstand anymore...
