Brothers, some post in the international forums about FULL MOON PARTY.

There are news that the Thai authority 'tolorance' has reach its limits for the wild party.

Claim to have MAJOR operation to arrest offenders on the party this year!

Andy2003 >>

Is tat the reason why you not going again? Kekeke....

Heard of these before? I new to this bro.

See report>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And every Full Moon there is a big spread in the Bangkok Post about how

many farang were arrested for smoking ganja at the Full Moon Party. The

police there have made a big issue of an official "no tolerance" policy

because they don't want the bad publicity or the problems that come with

too many backpackers with the sole mission of getting stoned on the

beach.

So if you go...be careful!

People have stopped going out because they are scared of being caught

up in raids

and having to wait up to four hours to be man-handled and piss tested

by scary men

in uniforms with big guns.">>>>>>>>>

During the party, Local thai tugs will take the oppotunity to rob, kill, extort, rape, drug, ...... 2 died last year from gun shot last full moon party. Local doctor claim that every year, at least one person will die during the party(I think most likely drug over doz)

Anyway if you know bochap...

He is very observan person..especially with his ride! :)

We have talk about these last night.

Bochap have already inspected the new tyre before inflation.

After air pump up to psi the bumps start to appear.

We still don't know the answer to these. Bochap will keep us updated when Mez reply his mail.

In addition,

Even for car low profiles performance tyres, there are also ppl reporting of bumps appearing on new rubbers....so don't know whether it's common/normal.

I've checked my Metz Tourance rear tyre. Found 2 such bumps too. Was told by my biker friend, it's an indicator for the tyres. He gave the same reason as Daniyal. Once the bump flushes wif ur tyres, time to change tyre. I've chk my fren's Bridgestone tyre, it has those bumps too.

SimplyBoChap > So rest assured it's nothing much to worry abt since u r not the only once having those bumps. :cheer:

Hiya Bochap

That bumps on the tire walls are defects. Don't listen to the JR people cos they are more interested in making your money than concern about your sfaety. I had the same problem some years back on the GS and I went back to Bobby and he changed for me no question asked. I don't know about the new guy that took over how is his service.

Checked with my mechanic about the Metz Tourance - mine has a bump too. just one. He says that's okay, and normal. (?!)

Should be 3 bumps one for each TWI(Tyre wear indicator) label abt 120 degrees apart

TO ALL >> IMHO Tourance SUCKS compared to my ENDURO 4 too soft to my liking ITS DEFINITELY RUN IN by now coz i just came back from Cameron Highlands The bike was fully loaded with 3 boxes and the metal undercowl.

160 km/h onwards my rear starts sliding For the ENDURO 4 it only starts at 180km/h with slight wind
