hi ATwin, its not he base plate. its actually part of the bike where the base plate is screwed onto the honda rear rack (silver in colour). mine cracked below the seat. i am looking for one. got one overseas , price is cheap (2nd hand) but postage is like 23 pounds ;(. tats like 70 dollars .

Sambora67>> ya my top rack also crack....now waiting to fabricate stainless steel rack with holder at sengkwang...How much is the top rack you order. The OEM rack is very expensive, i think can forget it, long waiting list from Chiong Aik , FJT etc.. Sengkwang charge me $260 for that. If u want we can go together.

Hi those frequent at N/S highway...An AT bike was lost in Machap R & R and a harley was also lreported ost in GP R & R recently. Now the thief target their area in N/S highway R & R. They start hunting their christmas gift, so better keep keep a gd look at ur bike when at malaysia.

I'm interested. But for a first ride I'm not so confident going so far. I would suggest a Sat/Sun ride to Melacca or nearby just to get a feel then next month can organise a further one.

 

BTW does anyone know where to buy the fuel tank reserve light? I've to change mine and also wanna buy spare rectifier and fuel pump. Just in case something screw up during the trip.
