and yea, knew abt spoke rims for vara...but if it didn't came with the bike, i'm not gonna spend any money..hahah

 

seriously, the 2008 model thingy...is it for real (the knobbies are really cool)? i had thot 08 models would have come up during the Oct (Germany or France) show? anyway, the rumour was for the 700cc vara...

decided not to do at the car shop as they can't do it in 1 day's time plus some major communication breakdown...

in the end settled for a re-wrap at the seat wrap shop along the market..

shop is very obvious due to the seats displayed outside...

tat 08 vara looked like it had taken parts from the gsa1200.. spokes and side cases.. i doubt vara gonna have spoke rims. too heavy.. maybe a 650 vara? which i hope but i dun think will ever have--- has smaller capacity, dual pipes like the 950 adv, a 30 litre tank, side panniers??

 

its too ex to maintain the gsa or 640adv.. hmmmm... maybe a jap model? bcos cheaper parts..

 

den ill get one....

As Atwin request, maybe we can settle for fazer hill on a day ride and rest in KL for a night, next day to genting and home sweet home.

 

My schedule is tight, so I can only do it on 12th or 18th or 24th Jan. After these dates will have to be after chinese New Year.

I did servicing of bike, repack exhaust, change gear shifter seal and change the sensor together. It cost $95 for the sensor, I'm not sure it's working or not, must wait till low fuel. Pumped full at JB yesterday :)
