guys... my ride got some probs here....

1: reserve light not working so had to depend on mileage!!!

2: recently got stuck on curb while going off from pavement to the road and might have dented the front header..

3: since then, tumpang people, cornering scrap mainstand (style ah!!!)

4: my rear shock seems useless now as no matter how i adjust the pressure...it simply won't work.

5: front fork 1 side slightly leaking liow.

thats all in the meantime, this it needs more T.L.C which i haven't been giving now i have to pay the price....

 

any leads as how much it will cost me to repair all these and where is suitable /recommended? i'm a loyal customer if job is well done up to my satisfactory (of course $ matters) I'll BE BACK....

 

 

oh..lastly, any recomendation to do wiring as i will be installing some gadget on my bike as currently, my SWITCH BOARD is done!

 

any great leads is deeply appreciated....

Hi all, sad to inform as I mention earlier, I cannot make it for this friday's meeting, tho I suggested for the trip ONLY, I was given the title ORGANISER.

 

Anyway, hope Atwin will update me of the trip details.

 

My points for all riders on the trip, as we will be going up & down hills/mountains/highlands,

 

1. Check brakes pads are at least 60% serviceable (brake fluid too)

2. Check tyres are at least 50% serviceable

3. No slippers/sandals/sneakers

4. Do not overtake while do cornering

5. Do not follow the riding pace from the rider in front ( Make yr own judgement, we will eventually wait for all to enter any town at the top or bottom of the hill)

6. Take note there are many corners that not just 90 degree, many of them are more than 270 degree.

7. Don just look in front when doing cornering, look to the direction u will be turning at least 45 degree. ( I know all are class 2 pro, but due to too many corners turning left & right, u be sometimes looking straight in front only. Thats happens to 2 of my friends who got off the road, luckily no dropping off the hill)

8. Pls expect the unexpected!!

9. All go & come back together safely! Cheers!

4.rear shock gone, go M-technik for wilber shock, $800 if u ask for a discount.

sounds like u need a major revamp of ur suspension system..prob damaged the front ones alr while the rear ones sucks. Ohlins are the best...if not, go for wilbers, readily available at Mtechnik i think. the full wilbers front and back will set u back apprx 1200? rear ohlins cost 1600.

 

for reserve lights, think someone just did it. but i have relied on mileage for more than 3 years alr...not bothered by that sensor

The VARA sticker can be in any colour you want.. just go to 219 and ask for it.. its in the pc not in the album so dun bother flipping through it. $5 each

if u all the way pump trottle when at traffic junction, u will get this result, I tried this b4, but normal riding shld hit at least 300km b4 lights up, or something is wrong.

 

BTW, we will be refuelling every 150km for the coming trip. ( cause buttock start to suck the bone!!)

B4 goin Fraser, do also ensure u top up sufficient brake oil. U do not want ur brake pumps to fail when going downhill. Theory is when ur bike is nose-diving down the hill, ur oil level does the same. Insufficient oil will cause the pumps not to receive the oil it needs. Been there done that. Have a fun ride guys.
