Hi all...I think its a great event...nonetheless there is still a barrier between the 3 groups...but its just great when everybody seems to be discipline while riding along the small dark road on the way back from Pendas...

I want to thank the dude who willingly step out of his bike to offer his help to hold one of my pannier while i going through the 2 barriers at the GP RnR...not sure if its from the Vara or the V-strom..but it doesnt matter who...the friendlyness that counts.

 

Sorry to all if the introduction is not well put up....did'nt manage to remember those i've exchanged handshakes and names...but will try the next time..but i realised everyone is a friendly bunch.

Vara, me & myself>> glad that u bike is ok now...go n get the digital volt meter as what joe suggest. My analog break down after travel at high speed. U can get it from carefour ard $20plus which i DIY under my speedometer.

 

nu7cracker>> will pass u the the belly pan detail design in our next meetup. The top box have to check with my friend whether they still have have more stock...if not shipment from germany will be quite high..

Maybe u can check with LAB...muxh more cheaper...autogauage with digital type..forget abt the analog type. Breakdown easily due to high speed (bcos of vibration)..I think u can just remove ur existing volt meter & insert the new one will do. Easy job for u.

hey dave, yup - I downloaded my thai maps from here too. heh.

 

my garmin 60csx is abt 650 bucks. waterproof but water went into the screen during one of my rides.

 

Had to spend almost a hundred bucks to send it to and fro from taiwan to have it fixed under warranty. (under one week as I emailed Garmin HQ directly) otherwise no complaints.

 

i recommend the ZUMO though. If anyone bought this, lemme know, i'll like to try..heheh...

p/s: i just fix 1150 front fender!! but need adjustment! if anyone wana fabricate...can use mine! price range $100-$150RM for 1st 5pc! anyone? will upload pix soon.

Trex >> if im not mistaken, the price of zumo has dropped to 900 plus, but im not sure which model.

 

I recommend the 60CSx definitely. Mabbe the first set i bought was a little screwed , but the replacement works fine. About 4 to 5 of kruzer's members are all using the 60 Csx and so far so good. we even bought the 12V socket to plug in, lighted all the way at night.
