the consumptionm part is not true anymore. Dynojet kit comes with 160, 165 and 170 size jet. I used 165 since installation and since starting dataloggin, I realised it runs really rich. At 120km it's running about 11.8, recommended target AFR is 13. So last weekend I changed to smaller 160 size jet, now it runs 12.3 about. till little rich but it gives a good allowance for lower grade petrol. I believe consumption should be better now, keep my fingers crossed

Anyway original jet is 168, 170. Way too rich.

Will give a full report on consumption after 1 tank.

Swee, i need some info from you regarding Rottweiler also. Just bought a Garmin 205W. Was comtemplating between the Zumo 400 and 205... bought the 205W in the end and saved $265

Bros anyone interested in the Motor GP next month?? How bout we plan this also, Ride to KL for a 2day 1 nite trip?? Option 1. 1st day ride to KL, 2nd day go Sepang after the race we can come back to SG. Or Option2. 1 day trip, early early morning ride to Sepang and after race go makan liao ride back to SG. You haven't got your rear shocks? Seems like long time oredi...

 

Still using my old technoflex but got a feeling its gonna go soon and according to Chan, the shocks is not to my weight and best is to purchase a brand new.

 

I was thinking of a cheaper alternative of getting a used original one and change the springs to HyperPro instead.

try up ur pilot jet size

clean ur air filter see if there is any diff.

 

play with the needle adjustment too.

Hi William, got Vara 03 original complete. Spring OK but piston rod scored and leaked I guess, maybe you can get it rebuilt to your own specs. General wisdom around seems to suggest that the original spring rate is OK but the back end is under damped and with no shock adjustment it's an issue.

 

Don't think you will have much luck finding one not leaking as that seems to be the common problem, that's why I changed mine

 

Swap for roti prata & teh tarik if it's any use to you, pm and I can email some photo's of the condition.
