Hi werxguy, nice to see u here.

If you are going for 2nd hand, if the mileage is more than 40k km, chances the previous owner had already change the oil pump is high as the problem surface around 30-40k. But changing of the pump is cheap, abt $55 and its already loaded with accessories.

Also the front springs and rear shock need to change to gine maximum handling and comfort.

Other than wear and tear problem( i.e. oil pump, batt and rectifier after 3 yrs) , there's no problem in this bike. except for earlier models, 1999-2000 ,which got some warranty problem.

If u buy 1st hand, carb model is fine exceptfor those I stated as aboved. EFI,I am clueless... :cheeky:

Regards to the springs and shock , depends on what brand u would like to change to.

Currently these's 2 brand , Ohlins and Technoflex. Of course there's other brand which offers too, but these 2 brands are quite popular as there's dealer bringing them in.

Price of springs ranges from $170-$200, and shocks are from $900-$1400
