I believe $80 is the original air filter. If you have the budget to spend, you should try and get the KNN filter which is reuseable, but it cost around $150.

Hi bros... Good news, My new owner might be giving up the hepco rear box cum rack. he also wanna sell of the 5star crash bar with hellas. tink he dun mind to trade with other crashbar with top up. do give him a call 81382955

Feeling not hurt, sounded like you knew something about the seller and bike. Bike is carb with no accessories, bike scruffy looking but otherwise sound.

yah confused i am gigging with the sunday band today coz the guitarist left. but the band we watch that time is not the regular sunday band actaully, they only cover when the sunday band unable to make it, and i am helping this not-so regular sunday band, ya i know its as confusing as ur ID lol

Hi guys...i'm back yest mid nite....riding all the way alone thru out the cold & wet night...too tired to post immediately & this afternoon spend solid 5-6 hour cleaning & polish by baby to it's orginal condition.

 

At night received bad news from KC ( i think i did not turn on my Hp earlier on), Tony & phillip had an accident at sungei buloh...Tony bike skidded & phillip was to close with me ....Phillip suffer minor bruise & our bro's Tony got his leg fracture. His wife is now rushing to the hospital & bring him back.

 

Busy calling the Tow bike service just now, the lowest they could offer us is rm $1200 bcos is hoilday & mid nite service (sin ard 500 plus) that bring the bike only to tuas check point. Bikebulance offer $658 direct to sg workshop. Msg them & they still decide which to take. Hope they r fine now....

 

anyone got better & cheaper rate to bring back the bike home ,pls let me know. Thks.

Got called from Phillip.....he need to send back to singapore via ambulance (seems pretty bad...both legs fracture). He's now arranging rm 1200 to pay the tow service guys to bring back to sg. He will keep me update for more info...

Total damage--> $1400 but I think all worth it, HKL is :thumb: Good follow up, delicated mechanics. Guess they won another long term customer.

 

Atwin>. bro need your help when u r back. Need to borrow something from ur bike to test. The mechanic told me that my bike's top end is problematic. He suspect either needle or carb problem. The engine internals are top notch now. But still cant achieve top , so required to swop carbs with urs then do dyno again.

 

HP abt 65 now only.. thats low. But low end torque burst is superb..

 

 

vara>> when u want me to leave my bike to HKL, need to oil change after my trip....just let me know..At least u know the mechanics is very responsible for what they r doing...Dondidie was very happy with their service, especially they manage to found out the fault of his bike.Maybe we should reward them our vara sticker to HKL...keke...so that Ah Bee can give varadero brudder more discount..

Ouch.... makes me shiver just thinking about it. Hope he gets back soon to get the best care and be near support. Speaking of which, since you seem to be in contact can you let us know where he will be so we can sneek in reading & roti prata :popcorn:

Yep am Happy after spending Big $$$ before my trip...and Satisfaction of Reaching Doi Inthanon....Yes I'm satisfied....btw Ah bee will give Discount for sure... I brought his sticker To Chiang Mai Bike Week.... 1st on the list is Get New Rubber.....

Well...more bad news for me at least... the Group of 4 Riders from SGP; 1x African Twin and 3 HD...Two of the HD and the Twin went up to MHS and one of them skidded, ran thru a patch of sand...No major damage to e machine but a front end and rim slight damage but able to be riden Rider was sent for check up and OK.They had their day rest.. And the HD whom is with me in Chiang Mai and covering a story for MotoCulture had an Ignition starter spoilt and unable to move..He was also in a bad state as havin bad flu.....As For me its just part and parcel of Riding...Expect the Unexpected.May Both the Rider Get well soon... Love U ALL...:cheer:
