Well...more bad news for me at least... the Group of 4 Riders from SGP; 1x African Twin and 3 HD...Two of the HD and the Twin went up to MHS and one of them skidded, ran thru a patch of sand...No major damage to e machine but a front end and rim slight damage but able to be riden Rider was sent for check up and OK.They had their day rest.. And the HD whom is with me in Chiang Mai and covering a story for MotoCulture had an Ignition starter spoilt and unable to move..He was also in a bad state as havin bad flu.....As For me its just part and parcel of Riding...Expect the Unexpected.May Both the Rider Get well soon... Love U ALL...

 

 

I think we saw them on the street at Huan hin...hope they r ok now....

Phillip will be heading down today, Tony's bike will be tow to one of the JB police station waiting to be collect. KC & me will bring back his bike this late evening when phillip is back. Have a safe trip .....

HKL is good that they would not allow a bad tuned bike out of their shop. The follow up is good , this time rd its free cos they will rectify my top end till its good and I am happy with it. Thats what I call service

My plan is to come back on 7 Dec 08 (sun) with Phillip. Due to some unforseen circumstances, phillip wish to stay back at Hatyai another day and ride back together with tony...Move off quite late & by the time i reach sin is ard mid nite...Yup...saw alot of cars at the side of NSH way...maybe due to wet weather....Better ride safe especially in NSH way...the car can suddenly appear close behind u & flash high beam...

Varas >> Bro, I just discoverred that my bike is having similar symptoms like DonDidie when we went to Bikefest earlier this year; 'camel-like' riding when I open throttle fast.. Reli hate the jerky feeling and the pickup terrible... I oso saw a red colour vara with red side-panniers along Clementi Road towards Ngee Ann Poly otw to office. Wanted to wave but say hi but the jerking-problem prevented me from doing so... HAiz.. it was a caucasian rider.. havent seen him before though..

 

I wish to send the bike in for check on Friday earliest. If not, I might join you fellas on Monday..

As for your hiccups, it would be good to send it there to check. I suspect might be carb needle or carb problems. Only happens when u throttle fast right, might be needle at top end position is worn , can't regulate the fuel flow therefore too much fuel being feed into the cylinders. Resulting in your hiccups problem when u fisted it due to incomplete combustion. Just my 2 cents worth ... heheh to confirm , you gotta send to the pro to do a check. Strip it up and all will be clear.

 

Anyway, I was also informed that my carbs are suspected to up the lorry already, thats y need David's carb to confirm it. Else would be my needle thats a gone. All will prevail on Monday. keke

 

Also I cant send on Fri is because the tank is full of juice! Hahaha Dun wan the mechs to curse and swear at me for giving them weights training.

Been riding my "new" Vara about a little bit and the handle bars feel strange as I used to the straighter Africa twin bars, these are Renthals (the seller says) and are bend toward the rider enough that i don't find them comfy. Anyone got a fix for that?
