Hi,

Beware Motoworld Scott oiler Intallations.

I had a scott oiler installed a few weeks back at motoworld and the mechanic mix up the vaccum hose with the fuel cap drain.

He correctly T'ed the vacuum service hose for Scottie but instead of connecting the Vaccum hose back to the air box (as in pic) he connected it to the Fuel cap drain under the fuel tank! Any water during storm or soap during washing would have gone straight into the engine!!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/edouard_g/VaraderoAirBox.jpg

Beware! there is no symptoms, the scottie will work and the engine run too.

bro eduard,

yeah the mechanics at motoworld truly cannot be trusted... i oso kena last month when i install my aftermarket fuel pump. I was on my way to penang that unfateful morning. Lukily the problem occur in singapore and not in malaysia.

As you all know the aftermarket fuel pump inlet and outlet nozzle is a bit smaller than the oem. So we had to insert a rubber tube onto the nozzle so as to fit our fuel tubing. The mechanic inserted some kind of fish tank tube instead of the black colour tube. The fish tank rubber insert melt due to the uncompatible material to petrol. Fuel cannot be supplied to the carburator due to the choked tubing..... thanks to sambora come to my rescue bringing me a spare fuel pump. On with my journey....

After my trip from penang, went down to motoworld and give the mechanic some tongue lashing and demand that he redo my fuel pump and i personnaly supervise him doing it.

Always use those 125cc fuel tube which is smaller, then fit to the original tube which is bigger and a clip to secure it. Arrrr....this guys got no knowledge of science ar!!!???

Any bro here got any problem to these can let me know, thu I may not able to help manaully, I can let u know how!!

Months ago I went to install an water temperature meter on my car,

The guy after installing the adaptor to the water hose, saw my water level low,

try to add water.

I immediately ask what water did he use for adding, he replied tap water la!!!

If that water is going to my radiator, months later I will see my radiator water become brown instead of green!!

There is metal particular after running from tap, it will rust my radiator & damage it.

Shld use distilled water or water that use to top up battery which can be purchase easily @ $1/bottle only.

Even if u chg yr coolant, use 1 bottle coolant and 3 bottle battery refill water unless u use Engine Ice where no water is to be added.
