Hi all, how is everybody. I have a friend from KL in town and we met on our recent melaka trip when i went with sharm and ramesh. He is a fjr rider and is wondering if we could have a meet up just to chit chat. I am proposing dinner/supper at ADams Corner from 10 pm onwards tmr, Tuesday 9Th june 2009.

 

Lets meet up and share the biker spirit guys. Lets also have some fun.

Any planning for this year ride. 3rd week Nov to Dec, i won't be free to ride to thailand. Maybe we plan early this year round end of Oct to 1st week of Nov....Wanna to go Chiang Mai to celebrate Loy Krathong . I want to see thousand of lantern in the sky & Sunflower Blooming Season.

R u going to Pattaya via Chonburi....if yes make sure just don't stuck at the highway traffic jam....it will take u hour to get out via BKK highway. Take route 9 & route 3 to reach Chonburi. Some of the highway at BKK don't allow bike, so prepare to get stuck in BBK for several hours.

 

From sin to chonburi.....haha. I think u need to take a break unless u going for iron butt.

 

1st stop - sin to hatyai (ard 888km)

2nd stop - Hatyai to HuaHin (ard 900km)

3rd stop - HuaHin to Chonburi (??? shld be ard 400-500km)

 

Which part of the journey i need to make sure I dun stuck at highway traffic jam? In BKK or Sukumit road towards Pattaya?

Where's route 9 and route 3? U got a map to show me?

Sorry i didn't manage to passby there....Eddie try it but somehow the gps lead him the incorrect highway...in the end stuck there for 1-2 hr. If u have a gps, try not to depend much on it as it calculate the shortest route or fastest time...it's doesn't show u which HW cannot allow bike to go in or avid traffic jam....Anyway if u depend on map, the map only shown major HW but in fact when u r over there, they are many many road that didn't shown on the map...Anyway where r u heading to..Maybe i can assists ur planning route.

U got go pc show...can look for ur SLR camera and gps as well.....660 selling sin 990 , how abt 550..i got it 1.2 with euro map. 660 i think it come with US preloaded map izzit. If u want thai-map need to purchase or down load.
