Hi Everyone!! I'm new here. Just bought an FS plate Vara 2days ago. Damn heavy bike leh...It's full accessorised. The only thing that really scares me is the fuel consumption!!! Any idea to prolong it's mileage? By the way, I'm NEO.

neo do meet up wif us if ya free 2nite or wed at 7pm onward at adam den alot vara riders can give u tips to pro long ya mileage, btw 1 way is to pump at jb during off peak ah....50% discount some more, but u oso can go by 2nd link see which is most convinient for ya...cheers!

yah hor. how you know ah? but no more yellow stickers leh. yesterday saw the fuel consumption, i scared liao. $20 for 190km?????!!!? siao!! My Srad1000, $17 can go for 240km.

 

Tonight cannot ah, maybe wednesday or nextweek. Busy with the mrs ah.

btw hella foggy dun neccesarily need crash bar to weld on to, like mine i use normal iron rod den ask ah wah to weld n wire it up....hehehe!

hmmmm,..... hello, Again, I have some enquire, I try searching the net, but to no info~ I like to know the following .... please help~

1) Litre of Engine Oil

2) Tank Litre

3) Fuel Consumpation

4) Top speed

5) Cruising Speed ( most comfortable speed for bike )

6) Any shops selling this bike as I like to take a loan~~

7) Country made.... need to check the price of parts....

Neo>> the fuel is abit on the high side for carb model. Best abt 16+km/l (highway constant speed of 110km/h ) ,15km/l(City highway mix) but u need to go easy on the throttle when moving off. If you move off like a rabbit , the consumption is high. My average is abt 330-340 km per 21lit.

To add on to Kenny's comment , apart from balls at home, easy on the wanking hand (right hand) hahahaha

Also give ur air filter a good check.

 

So far how u think of the bike? Would like to hear it from someone who had changed from another beast in another class to this beast in enduro bikes. fuel consumption aside kekekeke

7.1999 - 2001(i think) Japan but 1st few batches comfirm from Japan. Mine is 2002 , and its made in Spain ,same goes to the rest of the batches liao ( so Varadero also can consider as continental bikes not?) hahahha

 

60km/h>> urs not G Baker liao , cos this model cannot take out membrane. Urs is the higher end type = more $$$$ = U rich arrr hahahhaa

The idea for a forum of our own is good, but we don't have much members to substain it. We need at least some healthy numbers , if not it would b a waste to have such a big place but so little members.

 

A rough idea of how the forum would b and need how many members, u guys could check the varadero forum in the UK.

Unless we gathered all frens from all over asia to join in, then its worthwhile. So far , lets just "leech" on SBF till then... kekekke

my arrow exhuast nw is w/o silencer...thats y is louder(like apachi)...

 

i still yet to decide to tune the arrow cans wif silencer or wif/o...it seems to me with silencer is more powerful...m busy with work now...time permits then will pay a vist to Rosly.....
