go n retune yr bike.....it will make a difference....

 

our idlling timing if set lower at 1000rpm will safe us more fuel....its just that during morning start up we need to throttle a bit more....why burn more fuel n dnt hav a right combustion(spark plug will not last as long...=correct me if im wrong...)

 

Tues me might not be able to make it......

 

as for all the AT riders...their bike fuel consumtion is def better than ours....so no worries man...!!

Friday on the way home, at Bedok North Road towards Tampines Ave 10 junction, Comfort Taxi SHA 6307 ? with passengers pushed me off my lane from the right. He could see me but pushed me off the lane to the left anyway. Tried to control but distracted and hit lorry from the back.

Bike still standing when I got off (unhurt), as only the crash bar was wedged under the lorry.

Taxi ignored and drove off. Made report.

If you see taxi, remind him that he is a real pain in the B**t and that he would end up in jail or be haunted for the rest of his miserable life if he continues to drive like a numskull block-head.

 

Nice to see so many people in the VARAS forum, and so many trips...which I can't go, since I can't even take leave... RIDE SAFE and keep a look out for errant taxi drivers, folks!

 

Smicerboy (and everyone else) - CANNOT set IDLE throttle to less than 1000 rpm...bike appears to die often at pick up after a standstill at the lights. Suggested to be between 1100-1300 rpm.

 

Anyone with TAG, PROTAPER, AFAM, RENTHAL bars... can ride meh? Like VIBRATE (high freq) at 90-100km/h on the expressway...

Last saturday I went up south of Malaysia and some other parts.... I pump up to 180km/h but there's no vibration. I use a protaper handle bar. good bike and control. But I think my suspension jialat liao. by ass was shaking. I even on the Hella lights!!!! Man!!! it was superb!!! Never ever regretted of spending $70 for them. Really value for money.

It is their company practice POLICY that if the same Taxi driver recieved 3 complains, he'll be suspended from driving their TAXIS...you want to try? If you have a witness, even better, he'll be ban from driving inmediately while COMFORT investigate the matter. Recently, COMFORT just kanna BIG time from LTA, so they will be very concern that these things ...If you threaten to write to public media like newspaper, i think they'll be VERY worried....haha...

i belief our bike vibration got nothing to do with any kind or brand of handle bar.....

 

my bike got vibration onli on speed range of 60km/hr-70km/hr....whereas different pple dero got diff vibration point.....i guess its abt a proper wheel balancing n tyres.....

 

u 270km/hr guy then u go till 180km/hr onli ah....... u sure or not.....
