I checked with OANDA.com and with the current rates for Euro (based on credit card rate) the price should be sth like:

 

SGD 813 for V1K

SGD 514 for AT

 

This is exhaust and freight, excluding money transfer fees.

Is this company reliable? Seems to me that we will have to pay them at least 1-2 months prior to them shipping us the pipes as they won't be placing the order till they have the money. Important that they are reliable. You got contact with any German brothers in the International Vara site to check with?

 

As for the money transfer, these are the fees:

wire transfer: SGD30 (DBS) + charges at the receiving bank, if we have to pay that also need to check with them.

moneybookers: 1.5% (pay by eNETS), free for receiver, est SGD45

credit card: free (if they accept it)

 

So it seems the wire transfer may be the cheapest alternative, depending on the fees there. Also, we must trust them - cos once the money has gone, it's gone. Charges would then be another SGD 10-15 each on top of the price above.

U r right....Get the cert...fix up onto yr bike...go to any of the inspection centre for approval($55 exclud gst)....let them take some nice pics of ur bike....then wait for a reply from LTA(they will fax over for approval...approx 20mins) then u got it....license to ROAR>>>>!!!!!!!

 

(remember to bring IC....they die die dun accept license as identity.....n log card)

Had a look at their shop, they sure seem reliable. When you get the final quote from them, pls also try to get an estimated delivery time - just for our info.

The package is the same as the road legal system.It is also 2 slip-on silencers.The price is the same as road legal.The difference is that the outlet has a bigger diameter and it is louder then road legal.

Sorry i cannot give more discount than 20% because this is strictly near the price i have to pay myselve.

Woah, feel like getting the racing cans now... Especially after the vthumper man passed inspection with his...

 

On the website is specifies the racing cans as 103db at 5000rpm - what is the limit when they test at vicom? I guess will not be able to get a cert for it etc, but do you guys know of a lot of ppl who got stopped/fined? Also, will the bike pull much more gas with these cans due to the size or is it just noticable in the power?
