Thanks for the info. I have also relocated the IU unit in similar fashion but have it aligned it parallel to the frame instead for a flushed look. So far have tested it on Changi Airport T2 ERP carpark and it works fine. Have yet to ride through the gantry though.

 

I wasn't referring to servicing cost...rather the cost of the relocation of IU unit and the fabrication of brackets at some of the other shops.
