Tried mine ystrday at 140km/h frm pie changi 2wards tpy. It's a fun bike. Power wise is user friendly. I sent my bike 2 racewerkz 4 hard break in. Save all the trouble of running in myself. Hahaha... I'm still waiting 4 'goodies' 2 b fitted into her.

Just got a CBR 250R, anyone riding one?

Yes, I am riding one. Jus got it last mth after trading in my 10 mth old FZ8S. Big change in power curve for me. Jus trying out the bike. The FZ 8S was fast but hated the 'heat' on my thighs in traf jams and when riding long trips. I missed the FZ, never rode it in the rain, always covered. The next buyer "kiok-gu-lan". Under 6000 km. The CBR 250R is a good zip-around-town bike. Pick-up so-so lah. Cruise around 100 kmph is OK. Mileage about 40km per litre on Grade 95 fuel, spore roads. Can't install a main stand, which is a minus for this bike. Did not try top speed or else I would have kept my FZ8S. Like I said, a good zip around Spore bike. Have not ridden on rain as I hate riding in the rain and the drivers on our roads are bloody ignorant of bike riders..morons! I drive also and that's why my bike mileage very low. Will keep it for one year and change bike next year. Mine is none ABS. Don't expect rocket pick-up. Play w the throttle to overtake at the right moment. Torque between 1-3rd gear not very good....watch the gears shifting here. Other than that, it's very economical, and much better than the Twister 250. Look :cool:wise also better.

hi,how much did u bought it for ,is it powerful?

If u r looking for power, this is not the bike for you. Looks sporty but does not perform the sporty way. Good cruiser & zip around Spore bike. Economical and look wise is nice. Better performance than the Twister 250. The Kawa & Yamaha 250 better pick-up than this. 12K OTR. I bgt it last month. 40km per litre of 95 grade fuel. No need for 98, waste money only. Does not heat up so fast so the thigh areas very comfy unlike my FZ8-S....sauna treatment when riding for prolonged periods or traf jams.

If only the CBR 250R has a side box kit. I am not fitting any rear box as it looks ugly like ****! Side boxes better but it has to be small types. Hepco is out..too big even for the smallest.

It's a good side bike. I bgt it for this purpose. Will never ride it in the rain. Have car to do the job. My FZ8S 'rainless' bike i.e. never rode it in the rain and very very new looking too.:p

How much did it cost for the hard break in?

Whoaa.. 'Rainless' Bike... U shud consider and 'Sunless' Bike.. one that never see the sun before! What more with the current scorching weather with its UV rays damaging the paintwork. Hahaha

So yeah, GO GO CBR 250R! Reviews says its better than the Ninja 250! Wohoo!

The procedure cost $60. EO n oil filter change at $50. It's recommended 2 change eo n oil filter after hard break in but if u've run in ur bike till 2000km, no nid 4 the hard break in as u've completed ur run in liao.

Same here, this is also my side bike. When I go in to GP I'll use my Busa, FZ1N for work and CBR 250 for kopi session. :p

If change exhaust e sound like 2b 4stroke rite?? Like spark135 with yoshi n etc... I watch from youtube.. I tot suppose to be like rvf sound....

I haven seen one in SG yet, but I guess the sound should be in between spark and DRZ, cuz all are single cylinder engine.
