just an update guys. i was told by my mech that Moriwaki has released a street legal titanium full system for $1600. as for yoshimura, only the slip-on exhaust is street legal and the full system is still considered illegal. Yoshimura full system is selling at $1100 for the stainless steel version

Why this thread so quiet? My opinion is most of the 2A qualified rider will choose 400cc bike instead of 250cc bike.

Sorry, where is BKK?

SparkEnzo: is your bike new? i am abit hard on the throttle and i got about 320km before reserve...

i tink your bike can go faster.. tried mine with pillion as well on BKE and got 135km/h just by dragging my top gear.. it should be able to go faster from a rolling start..

Tried mine at Johor Circuit, Pasir Gudang last Good Friday.. I got 147km/h on the back straight. definately the bike is capable of higher speed coz need more road and the back straight is an uphill.

Try switching gears just before e rpm hits e redline. guess that will help.. just my two cents.. :)

dats weird... mine is just over 10000 milage.. fuel consumption about the same at 33km/liter.. but my average speed is about 110km/h..

i got 147km/h upslope, havent throttle full yet and ran out of road to go faster.. havent tried downslope yet tho...

probably there is some kinda explanation y people get different stats.. i saw a youtube video few months back, dis guy got like 170+km/h on his cbr250r...

perhaps running in techniques? how do u guys run in your bikes?

Fazelino: My bike still new, now just coming 2 months and clock in 1200km so far. Running in method, i followed the manual :)

Bike hit 130km/hr but have to slow down as ran out of straight road. Guess can go more lah. Hope so !

Ya, think I shall drag the rpm further up to almost redline than switch gears. Thanks for the info.

And I saw that guy doing 170km/hr on his cbr250r too. Impressive ay !

But regarding fuel consumption, my 1 bar of fuel left starts to blink around 260km and when i refuel, fuel reaches the top at ard 9 ltrs. Stated fuel capacity is 13ltr right?

Maybe im too kiasu scared fuel will finish soon. Haha. I havent really tried to see how many km more can the bike go as soon as the 1 bar left starts blinking...

WJ: Thanks for sharing, maybe we all who wanna try our bike's top speed can go 2nd link together in future :)

i got about 340-350 before it blinks..

i got problems with inserting the key as well initially when i got the bike.. try spraying wd40 on the key n in e hole.. den try insert n take out, insert n take out, like making love.. hahahah.. need to get the lube into its mechanisms.. after awhile it'll be super smooth.. i aint got problem anymore..

ouh ya... forgot to mention.. u probably get more milage for your petrol as your odometer climbs.. new bike's initial fuel consumption sucks.. it'll get better after about 5000-7000km...

for me i did a mix of hard run in n conventional run in.. i would bring my rpm higher on the 4th, 5th n 6th gear, varying my speed on the top gear...

best to test at track bro.. safe n wont get u into trouble with the authorities.. should really try it at johor circuit.. the bike has got power.. but sadly, its handling is only satisfactory.. prolly should lower my fork a lil n get Ohlin for my rear..
