Insurance claim payout

Hi fellow forumer, need some advise. Was involved in a traffic accident way back in 2007. After up n down the lawyer office, court, the other party has offered a reasonable sum of money abt 2 weeks back. So i decided to accept the offered amount. Now the question is, how long more do i need to wait till i receive the payment n close the case. I'm super tired of this draggy case which wasted alot of my time and annual leave. Any advise is appreciated. Tia!

maybe about a month or so. once the amount is decided between both parties, it shouldn't take much longer.

 

mine took about 2 weeks after the amount was confirmed between the 2 parties.

Thxs Epk! My 14 days leave left 1.5days only. Now only august. How to survive till dec? Just hope tat everything will be fast n smooth.
