the joymax 300i? main differences are the overall size, joymax have smaller wheels and single brake disc upfront while maxsym have twin projector headlights.

GTS and Maxsym are totally different animals. Only reason for the 300 would be if you're uncomfortable with the size and weight of the Maxsym. Though, after switching from a 125 small lamb to Maxsym, the size and weight is something I appreciate, and now I'm able to manoeuvre and lanesplit similarly. With the size and weight which adds to stability, also comes more power, more storage, more road presence, and more features. If you have 2A, the natural choice would be Maxsym.

Yup, less of everything versus more of everything...

Just changed to BMC Performance Air Filter, and the feeling is shiok!

More power, bike somehow feels lighter, and there's an extra devil on my shoulder telling me to speed, haha!

tks for all the advise.

I will be downgrading from a class 2 sportbike.

Just went down to take a look at both the bikes.

Still considering my options.

To me the Maxsym is more worthwhile compared to tmax which i am considering also.

HLC? Damage?

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

I feel that the pillion seat is a bit too long and the rider backrest causes my pillion to sit even further behind. Hard for me to handle tight corners and slow lane splitting at jams. But when I ride alone everything is fine :D

Tmax! Wah... Considered Tmax too, but 1 Tmax can buy nearly 2 Maxsyms already, haha!

Tmax is like a sports bike lor. The underseat storage not very big. Very nice design and performance but expensive man. It's like 22k OTR right? Fun bike to ride I guess

if money no object, tmax is the way to go. purchase price + parts costs = thin wallet. haha. awesome looks and great handling. best compromise between bike and scooter. luggage space issue can solve with a topbox. but if i getting a bigger scoot, burgman 650 also looks tempting sia.

LOL. Eh we rubbing it in for daniel la. hahaha. Make him feel bad for buying. For me, i wont alter my air intake unless can control the fuelling to compensate for the additional air e.g. Power commander.

Lol. 10 air filters enough to last till Coe finish. But then he makes the BMC sound so good.

Haha! Nothing wrong with stock air filters, for me it's just that I've used the performance ones on other bikes before and can feel the difference. Plus I like anything that increases performance without decreasing reliability (really bad experience with modded parts, but still gian performance.) So I won't touch things in the drivetrain no matter how much boost I can get... :)

Power Commander's quite tempting actually. My friend just installed his and he keeps trying to show off his increased acceleration in front of me...

Lighter rollers will do the job right...?

no la. hw the rollers affect the air-fuel mixture? Unless u are saying rollers affect the acceleration which is yes. Dr pulley sliders at $95 definitely increases the acceleration. More worth it IMO.
