Power Commander's quite tempting actually. My friend just installed his and he keeps trying to show off his increased acceleration in front of me...

How much is the power commander for maxsym?

Thinking about broquet also

Is it worthwhile?

Dont think got PC yet for our bike?

I tink dont waste money on broquet. Its expensive and even if it helps ur fuel consumption (dont tink it does), u will nd to travel alot to break even for the cost. Just control ur throttle. Best fuel saving method.

Hi guys, I saw one of these at a bike shop and quite tempted to get it. Mileage at 20900km. Is there any major service to be expected at this kinda mileage? Also, how much does a major service cost? Thanks for the help!

I'm a smoker, by that i mean two stroker, someday I'd like to burn clean, but for now that power band is my nicotine.

At 20k think you ask the shop to open up the transmission area to check the belt, clutch, rollers and clips.

20k is time to change belt and rollers. So either you get a chui one or previous owner just change.

Okay, how much should I expect to pay for all the items you mentioned?

I don't remember it's so expensive last time. About 10 years ago. I put on my Honda wave. Cost less than $50 then. No comments on the effect since I put it in on the 1st day of owning that bike.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Just changed to BMC Performance Air Filter, and the feeling is shiok!

More power, bike somehow feels lighter, and there's an extra devil on my shoulder telling me to speed, haha!

Looks not Bad but why not Change to K&N Airfilter ? Much cheaper and no more Blackbox to see on the bike.

It's precisely because want to keep the airbox. Last time I use exposed K&N air filter, everytime it rained the bike would stall, then have to wait for two hours for the water to dry. After that, I'll only use stock, or airboxed air filter.

Seem like quite a few maxsym being pushed over recently. Could it be related?

That's it... I'm getting a super sensitive bike alarm. Can't prevent, but can lessen the possibility.

I don't get it... It's super tough to topple the Maxsym from main stand. Tested it myself and my bike just slid and turned around...

I even got scolding from my wife. she release the main stand on her skipper, the THUNK! sound also set it off sometimes. :p

Yup, $150. Worth every penny and comes with lifetime warranty. I think they only have one or two more as they have to import from Europe.

I want to buy the filter also.

Where is HLC?

Broquet distributor is Unique just few shops down from my usual bike shop at Autobay. Will see whether I'll install it after my usual servicing visit.
