Doesnt rly matter what EO. Most important is to change out the factory one to get rid of the metal flakes and particles. Coolant can just use. Dont waste money. Gear oil chg at 1000km.

Popular EO used to be Agip but cant find anymore. Just stick to the big brands like motul or maxima should be fine.

Thks bro! So EO will do, full or semi syth. ? Was consider redline oil.

Maybe u can use mineral or semi-syn first. Ltr at 1k km then use fully-syn. Redline is good. Using it nw. Actually using the car version. Ours no nd motorcycle oil since don't have wet clutch.

Been quite some time since I log in here..

Need some feedback.. I lost my orginal bar end balancer on the left side while riding today..

Do you guys know where to get? And how much?

Thanks bros!

A lot of us changed to other heavier balancers. Should have the original sitting at home. Maybe one of them will sell it. Mine also changed but I don't have the rubber plug. Reuse from the stock.

If u want heavier balancers, can get from ah boy, tai hin etc.. range from $20++

I switch from SW to Maxsym due to the fact that SW makan more oil (20-21km/l) compare to Maxsym (26-27km/l). Handling wise Maxsym is also better compare to SW aka no Fishtaling during corners. :thumb:

Servicing super cheap bro:

1) ROUTINE 5k KM: 2bottles of EO (+/- $40), Oil Filter ($10), Gear Oil ($8)

2) EVERY 20k KM or more: Change rollers, Belting, Clips (+/- $150 Price based on SW, it shld be ard the same as SYM belting is MADE-IN-JAPAN)[i heard sym scoot belt can last well over 30k Km as compare to the italian ones]

A very reliable piece of machine, the further u go the smoother it gets :thumb: P/S my maxsym alrdy @ 6400km mileage...hehehe

Thanx for the information

My Maxsym is currently close to 2k KM, first oil change done, bcos I was unable to find the Agip, I ended up using Bardahl scooter oil. The vibrations seems to be getting worse, any change of throttle will result in a short vibration. Could it be the gear oil?

Bardahl gives very bad vibes, should avoid it in future.

Get the cat repellant tablet from daiso. it looks like this http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3056/2923954681_ee4d625ed3.jpg put half a piece behind the backrest and no more cats will come. The smell does not bother humans.

Interesting.. Will look out for it.

Doesn't work for me. 1 Block can divide into 4 smaller pieces (Smell like BBQ smoke). Cat like to sleep under my scoot. So i put a quarter piece under my scoot, cat sleep beside. Put more still can sleep beside the block. Conclusion - It doesn't work. Maybe the cat always hang around BBQ pit so smoke smell no bother.

I used to put the spikes from daiso on my scoot, no cats came, after a while I stopped using it, until now still no cats come.
