I don't slam down my seat to close n lock. I will lower it down and push on each side hard enough until i hear the locks 'click'.

 

If u have persistent seat not locking issue then u might want to investigate if there's anything in the way, along the rim edges especially. Also the under side of the seat isn't completely flat, the area below the rear passenger seat actually caves downwards, and be in the way of your trunk goodies ESP helmet.

 

I got this prob. Go to Mah. Make it an issue then hopefully we all can change. Mine is the bracket n't align.

ic, Mine was like that in the beginning, guess the locks and brackets kinda fell into place already.

u r right..i have this problem too with my right side..but den i found out the right technique now no more of this problem alrdy

what i do is u need to gently move yr seat left or right alil so that the metal thingy swee swee go in the hole if not it will tend to hit the side.

ya but after discussing with mah mechanic, "confirm" is the seat bracket not align. pls go back to mah and highlight this issue. so that they got enuff "case" to talk to SYM.

Yup..i agree with all that when u get e right technic,will be able to close.i also found out that e mounting on the 2 damper on e seat side is a ball type.so when u close e seat,it will shift a bit no matter wat.i guess thats where e alignment will shift...

Try 130km/h this morning, RPM at 6200, helmet nearly blow away, finally understand why need a full-face helmet. Did any one notice the engine behave differently when RPM more than 6000? I feel a sudden increase of power don't know why.

By the way does the mechanics at Mah allow us to look see look see at them working on our bike? Look see only so as to learn abit here and there, not supervise.

I think it is ok. I look see look see and ask few questions last time during servicing my bike at Mah, the technition told me by right i shoulden't be in the work shop but it is ok if they are not busy and the work shop is not crowded.

coz i get 22km/l den when i use the greentech fuel saver den i get 24km/l

 

u guys have any idea how come my fc so bad as in stock without fuelsaver?

 

i heard some of you guys get 30km/l...is that even possible?

Maybe can share how u move off at the lights....6-7k rpm to pull away or 3-4k rpm? Itll definitely affect the FC esp in city riding or start stop traffic.

 

My fuel gauge just dropped a notch to the middle marker n I am at 160km travelled for this tank. I time my pick up just sufficiently to be ahead of traffic behind me which usually coincides at 3.8k to 4.2k rpm.

This is no gd.need to go Mah tomoro..Think e cable to open seat by key has snapped or dislodged.cannot open seat by key only by e button..

so fast?..mine will only drop to middle marker at 178km..and this is constant...

and usually...

Drop to "F" level @ 58Km

Drop to "3/4" level @ 115km

Drop to "1/2" level @ 178km

Drop to "1/4" level @ 230km

The "E" i havnt try coz everytime at 1/4 ill top up

Well,i dunno.as usual i always use e key to open e seat but cant turn e key.so depress e seat again till click again and turn e key and it unlock but e sound a bit strange.reach destination cannot already..

After 2 days of rainning, i found my left handal bar grip become loss and can turn freely . I think the friction between the ruber and the steel tube is gone ( the ruber hand grip won't came out but free turn), may be the rain wash away the glue in between? Any one have the same problem?

Just came back from Mah to repair my seat cable that have snapped.Its not e cable but replace e whole ignition assembly cos if not key still cannot turn.Send e bike at 11 collected it only at 6.Most impt 'warranty claimed.'
