I called Derick the boss and he quote me $200 for the paint work (Middle Petrol Tank Section)

I tink i going to go for spray paint coz the carbon fiber does not stick well on that part

He will take ard 2-3days like dat to paint the ctr part

I personally think $200 is bit too much to pay for spray painting that part, plus you may not achieve the exact colour scheme as the rest of the bike. Previously I had applied primer on my plastic parts of my X9 and once the primer settles sand it down to a smooth finish. Then the wraps can stick like your irritating ex girlfriends. Primers are cheap and I had fun DIY-ing then.

 

But then again nothing beats a good paint job that last for years.

hi guys, just want to share with the maxsym riders here..

I recently relocated my work place to Kranji and Tuas, and i stay at Bedok. So my routine is Bedok-Kranji-Tuas-Bedok everyday.

My bike alry hit 3000KM and i notice something that amaze me....

 

- My bike never vibrate anymore even at idling..seriously no vibration at all

- My bike runs smoother and exhaust very silent

- It seems like Maxsym want to go further coz at my point to travel @ 120km/hr, the rpm is only @ 5800

- The bike is very responsive too

- Overtaking is a breeze, u open throttle abit the bike juz zoom and the next thing u know its 130km/hr alrdy

 

Any of you guys feel this especially after 3000km?

i abit scared here..lol

Yeah man like I previously posted the more I ride, the less the vibrations get. Though my mileage still hovering at 600km++ only. I could obviously feel that the bike runs smoother upon each new ride.

 

Looks like it's high time for a drink/TCSS/ogle at new mods/ on our bikes soon. Since I see some riders staying around my area may I suggest a kopi session say near ah Chong? There's a coffee shop and sheltered parking. How about this friday night?

Running in is tough, currently maintain speed at 70 to 80 km/hr. how long do you guy run in till (1000KM) after first eo changes?

As much as your right wrist allows......Some guys visited 130km/h way before 1000km. I think if you keep below 5000rpm should do fine, anyway 5k rpm should take you close to 100km/h.

no not ignition problem but the lock thingy..the mech fix for me alrdy he say alil loose..a 5min job but must spend $35 for the tow truck

I just change my EO just now at 3100km

The boss say his workshop do not charge any labouf fee during EO change

 

This is his number: 9272 0009 Derik..he very expert in scoot he even check for me if the GPR Exhaust and Face cowling for Maxsym is available or not..hehe

err why u change eo at 3000km??

it shld be 1st 1000km then follow by 5000km and after that every 5000km.
