Move your seat inward before you apply strength to lock it.

Let say if you are stand on the left hand side of the bike.

Lock the right seat first. It should be very straight forward.

Then come the difficult one. Move the left seat inward and then try to lock it. Once you master this it should be easy to close.

The above apply to my bike. Not sure about yours.

Been a week since I got my maxsym but I just couldn't get the technique to close the seat properly. Especially on the left hand side. I even noticed that I've chipped off the plastic part near the catch.... Haiyohh....!! Heart pain pain... LoL

Anyone can share the technique?

Hi all,

I just change my engine oil. Using AGRIP 10W40.

Can immediately feel a different. Engine is smoother now. Vibration decrease. I think it is a good oil for MAXSYM

Previously using mobil 10w40.

Bro where did u change that brand of eo at?

I assist the seat down manually to rest on the catch, then apply a firm pressure downwards on each side firmly until I hear the click. The pressure point just right about above catch/lock area. Thug upwards a little to ensure both sides are locked.

Just change gear oil to Red line 75W-140, to be honest, don't feel a difference when riding, but things i do discover are: 1) the 75W-140 gear oil is much thicker than 70w-90 castrol gear oil which used by Mah for their servicing. 2) The amount of gear oil drain out from my transmission is only200 mlo_O , i think Mah's technician don't even know the correct amount of oil to be use. 3) The transmission compartment is really ****ing hot, o_O , so it is better to use a XW-140 than a XW-90 4) both drain and top up bolt are size 14mm and with directional washer
