Bought a 2nd spark. Clueless of the changes the previous owner made but still bought it. One word. Impulsive. So lets cut the chase..

 

Vibration - can't even check my mirror properly, you know what i mean. My whole hand can go numb after a long ride. My pillion can get multiple orgasms. AND recently my kick start flew off like angry bird. Amen to whoever it hit (kidding).

 

SO. i asked this shop, the mechanic say its because of my front fork. The spring inside was cut short? Have to change the whole fork. 200+? wow idk you tell me. another shop said it cant be because of my fork. Its because of my big bore engine. Have to change the piston and he mentioned engine minit or minute whatever that is, i googled that and nothing i can find.

 

I work as a courier and fuel consumption, a day work and.. full tank twice! yes my spark. And also my kick start can be a pain in the ass!! Why?

 

I'm giving up. Not a smooth ride. Burning my pocket. BUT yeah no doubt its a strong bike. So help me. full service (since its an old bike.. its FBA), re bore engine back to normal, change my fork? Or change my bike?

 

Regret buying this bike la, no comfort at all. Its powerful thou.

Engine probably rebored, block skimmed, high compression piston, bigger carb and all that modded stuff which explains your fuel consumption and difficulty starting. Want to do something about it, best go to the source which is probably JB. I know got resleeve to stock but dunno about rebore to stock, its probably cheaper to just get a new block, fork where got so ex until 200+ one.
