The thickness, colour, size, materials or you are hoping to loan from them?

Uniqlo has plenty of winter jacket stuff that is value for money. Except, I much prefer they come with removable hoods.

 

And Daiso has plenty of cheapo winter scarves and so on.

 

If you are looking for winter sports stuff, thats another considerations and budget all together.

Are you asking if anyone has bought a winter jacket recently or you want to know where in Singapore you can buy winter wear ?

 

There are different severity of winter so you need to dress appropriately. Then you have to learn how to layer the clothes so you won't look like a Michelin Man.

 

To buy winter wear in Singapore, there is a specialist winter shop called Winterwear. they are located at :

- winterwear shop at Shaw cineplex at Jurong East

- winterwear section at OG People's Park

 

For mild winter, about 10C, you can use those riding jacket with thermal lining

I wouldnt recommend folks buying winter wears in Singapore.

 

Like my Mummy. She tot she was 'taking care' of my bro. She bought a few hundred dollars worth of winter coats to send to my baby bro in UK. And made me sent to him by mail. Not realising, its not winter season where and when he was, and that stuff are heavy and made in UK.

 

My baby bro, later did yahoo me back to tell me, he received the stuff, and is irked at having to lug them home in his luggage unused.

And winter sports wear are another consideration. I lugged home from USA and Canada's Whistler Mountain.....Ski Goggles, Gloves & socks. The Sports skill jackets, pants and shoes, can be rented at the ski resorts. They dont allow you to wear those bulky common place bought winter coats and stuff on the slopes. Its too dangerous.
