my fren's gilera scooter

 

his bike was park stationery at this particular mrt station pick up point.

a passenger van reversed and knock down my bike and went off.

lucky there was a traffic( so we ran to him and ask him stop over)

 

he was unaware of it. came down and was very attitude saying very minor damage only la

 

damage : broken mirror,broken brake lever, deep scratches and mark,IU spoil and alignment problem

 

obvious enough,he not willing to fix my bike and wanted to transfer 60 bucks for the damages only.

 

so we file accident report on him.

 

THE BIKE SHOP CAN TELL ME MY CASE OF WINNING IS 50-50. OMG.

WITH WITHNESS , THE CHANCES TO CLAIM IS 70-30.

 

how come is not fully claim by other party for the accident?

actually for this case, if there is witnesses or video to back u up then i will say its almost 100 % win. but if not it will just be 50- 50. Depend on what the other party file in his report. He may claim that u hit his van from behind instead. cheers!

there is no 100% win in any case. TS parking at a designated bike lot? parking and waiting is 2 different matter. moreover pickup point is for stop - pickup - go (not even for waiting) even with video prove also difficult to claim.

 

Freaking insurance company only know how to collect $$ when comes to paying $$. haizzz...
