Can road tax be renew 7mths or 6mth 2day instead of 6mth?

if i renew 6 mth, both road tax n insurance will expire just nice 2day before my birthday.which means i have to pay more for insurance

no u cant extend to 6 months and 2days.

Juz align your insurance with the road tax date. They can do it. This means extending/buying more days for your insurance to be inline with the road tax.

"Besides the late fee, the owner of a vehicle is also liable to be prosecuted for the offence of keeping or using the vehicle without a valid road tax under Section 15 of the Road Traffic Act. The offence carries a maximum fine of $2,000 upon conviction in court."

 

To do this, dun use the vehicle during the period.

 

 

 

Ohh ya forgot to add. This does not solve the Insurance and Road Tax renewal date. Road Tax will still be stamped with the same date, delayed by some time and you paying a penalty for it.

lets say it i go to my insurance company on the 15th to renew my insurance but it will only start on the 18th.

i will get the paper and everything on the new insurance on 15th.

with this method can i renew road tax on the 16th?

there will be a 2day gap where i do not have insurance which i dun plan to ride

Provided that your Road Tax is valid. Its OK not to ride for the 2 day gap. I doubt any insurance company would wan to insure you if the Road Tax expiry date is near. In the end still need to align the dates.

Blame the stupid buyer. Why never wait 2 day before buy bike if new bike?

Old bike then have to follow register date.
