CBR 150 Electrical Issuess

Hi Guys

 

After a recent top service, the night i was riding, the dashlights taillights headlights all blew out. Brake lights signal light were working.

Went down to workshop, told them lights were alot brighter at higher rpms ( overcharging issue )

Replaced magnetic coil, battery and rectifier.

4 days later, dashlights headlights taillights blew out again.

 

Pls advice guys, have been getting alot of issues with my 7 year old cbr lately

Change your cdi and whole wiring set.

Check with multimeter first to see whether is still an overcharging issue.... then check all your fuses correct ampere rating or not. Check wiring see anywhere short circuit or not.

I have been to the workshop twice regarding this issue. They did a multimeter check and replace a wire near the magnetic coil. But a couple of hours later,

the lights blew out again. Helppppppp

The wiring could be short circuit....
