hii ppl... just got my bike sprayed at this shop AMBRA located at ang mo kio industrial park 2.... the owner is indian... is the paintwork there good?? im being convinced by him and paid 300 for 2 colour spray.... mine is a kups.. i scare im being carrot.... sianzz.. any1 have experience wif tat shop? they say 3 days can finish my bike liao....scare they anyhow spray... then everything chui..

the artist doing the air brush job is a bali guy rite???i personaly have seen his werk..saw him did a air brush on abt 12 helmets all the same design..all free hand..i muz say dat his skills is good..but make sure u tell him exactly wat u want..give exact details,if possible sketch out..if u juz tell him briefly on wat u want w/o prividing good details then possibly u would not like the outcome..update me on the outcome of the end product ok..i also riding cub..thanks..

i sprayed my bike there .. the white spray is done by them .. don worry bro the indonesia guy takes his job seriously .. upz for the shop ...

rest assure bro , the indonesian guys stays at the shop thus he only needs two days .. i was afraid at first too but when i saw the end result was very very satisfied

noted....coz im gg to respray my bike n mostly is tmr send in.thks for ur info....any idea if they do servicing??

i serviced my bike there before - bad choice.

u will find far better workmanship at other motordiam.

and they always try to carrot ppl...

 

the only mech i trust is the old chinese uncle ah kor, dont know if he's still around.

 

as for the air brush, never tried so i cant say anything. i have seen his works, by professional standards i think its good but i dont like the designs.

true bro , me too find their servicings abit below standard but HIGHLY recommend the spraying cos the indonesian guy is superb

for norm s4 would be bout 250 i think

thk they charge u for labour to dismantle ur bike....ystd roger the boss also told me he charging lolx....aiya their profession is to airbrush,so servicing is consider side line liao,sure ve to charge to maintain profit margin....if all dun let them charge,we might loose a well airbrush artist lolx....btw i ve nt gt my 00R1 yet....their quote is abit ex compare to others bt if is pro level,y not keke....will post my bike pics here once finish

im nt trying to side them bt which shop will chop $500 for a rectifier,

carrot shop wont b consider as carrot shop unless gt many hidden charges....if they tell u the price n u r ok with it,meaning they r nt wrong,they juz charge higher than others tats all lolx....

for that matter, a zxr750 rectifier costs 500+, oem parts can be very exp for certain makes and ur bike doesnt have to cost 70k for that price ur paying.

 

and as for which shop will sell rectifiers for 500......well im not sure, but im not lying either, u juz have to visit a variety of motordiams n get a feel for urself how some of them may overprice their stuff, ridiculously.

 

whatever ur definitiopn of "carrot" may be, i just thought that i should share this with forumers because afterall, we are looking for information to make a more informed choice of what we're going into. thats what a forum is for right?

taken my bike on thursday... its really a 3 day job done... cool... the paintwork was satisfactory... but i just think tat the paint layer is a little too thin because i accidentally scratch abit on the fairing then can see the previous colour.. but overall i think its a gd deal... cause they will not anyhow do ur bike... if they not sure of anything they will double comfirm wif u on the phone....

 

 

7george8: i saw ur R1 there! haha... dun worry.. trust the guy whos doing the paintwork.. he SUPER skillful... as for the boss... can tok alot... quite friendly... but personnally i dun really trust him..

suks.....paying for airbrush bt getting worse than can spray job....they do repair also dunoe wat they doing....1st time i see ppl remove the whole rear wheel to juz change the chain....
