dear boys n girls.. english lesson time..

 

ice-skating........ skate

in-line skating.... skate

blade................ sharp sharp thingy

rollerblade......... brand of skates

summary........... its called skating guys, there is no such thing as blading

 

don't we learn someting new everyday..

(forgive me ppl, dun noe y, i just hate the word blading)

tink i'm gonna revive my inline skate exercise. anyone noes wer to get a good pair of affordable skates. saw a variety at carrefour,dunno if they're cheap or good....

saw from the inline thread that those at carrefour sux...so if you dun wan your feet to suffer better get a good pair which you should be able to get with abt $200?

carrefour shoud be cheap lah but most prob will cause blisters n discomfort.

check out the prices at different places for some models and compare lor

(rsh, world of sports, gallant, queensway s.c, peninsula s.c, etc)

try go for those with a buckle n lace instead of 3 buckle (tends to cause blister).

soft boot more comfort, downside is may wear n tear if u fall often..

abec 3 should be enuff if u're on a budget.. (5 n 7 tends to be more x)

wheels.. bigger = faster, smaller = stablility (u decide)

the higher the (a) the harder the compound (tink bt10 vs bt90)

make sure the frame is sturdy (u dun wanna skate on 3 wheels)
