also "if you want a Good horse then you have to feed it with good Grass... "

haha.. wat to do? .. but i find wat they say a little true la. cos once in a very long while then go bike shop ma. then do up swee liao can last another beri long while.. :thumb:

think u muz noe wat to do there la. certain things will be cheaper in certain shops ma.. like hkl eo and tyres r cheap.. so far, i find most stuff quite cheap oso.. if u buying aftermarket products, maybe elsewhere cheaper? cos hkl like beri down-to-earth type of mechs.. they juz noe how to do up bikes quite well lor.. but other than tat i'm not too sure leh.. o_O

haa, true.

but i don't trust the mechs there...

they might be down-to-earth, but they also "ai mai ai mai" one. i definitely won't trust them with my bike if i'm to leave it there overnight...

furthermore, the mechs there can give u a totally different price from what ah bee tells u. things there are cheap if u buy and diy. otherwise, they will jack up the price attributing it to quality workmanship. *chuckle*

if it didn't happen to you, then i must say you're lucky man...

i want to know whatt u did man~ u got more power and speed?

how much did everything cost?

My main problem was that at a certain rev range for example around rpm 5-6k, sometimes the bike like jerking, feels like the carb not getting enough petrol. So i went to HKL and ask them what could be wrong. After alot of "advice" and bullshit, i decided to settle for a simple change of original honda air filter. I would however go back again when i have the money to do a nice full service though

wah... serious ar? but i think everyone's experience is different lor... sometimes it depends on luck oso.. sometimes depends on the bike you ride and the mood oso lor...

for me, I've been going there for quite a few years liao but never really get chop lor... like i said, most bike shops talk c*** one lor... when they hear that you go other shop do for that certain price, then they'll say that you kana chop liao lah... its always like that... from my years of experience, there is no one bike shop that is honest enough one lah...

but for me, HKL price is quite good for me after comparing with other bike shops... i won't do things there unless i know the market price or what other shops are offering lor... their worksmanship may not be the best but good enough and the price is attractive at least to me...

so before you go bike shop, always check out with fellow SBF members and check the forum lor... then compare a few shops and get the best price out of it lor... :thumb:

pardon my ignorance.. but WTH is jet fluid?

izzit turbo charged fluid like NOS like that, pump into your carbs then your bike can fly like jet ar..

Just tested at 2nd link, the jerkiness is very minimal now, i can feel a great improvement in the smoothness of power. My current rectifier is not the original rvf rectifier, its actually a sp rectifier. No wonder my bike feels underpowered at top end. But no money change now :weep:
