guys, thanx for that day!

mech told me it's fuel pump.

he changed the fuel pump and the starter motor at the same time.

total cost was 100. add 30 more for the tow...

fuel pmp and the starter motor at 100 seems ex to me..

is the starter moter the same as the carbon starter? if so, then i guess i'm comfortable with it, cos, i've been wanting to change the carbon starter a long time ago anyway... ;)

ALL:

ehh.. next time, SIM and SMU bikers can unite lah~ go out together!!

SMU bikers also not very big... the regular ones.. from 5 of them down to just 3 bikes... fooz from NTU also joins us once in a while. So, we have representatives from NTU, SMU and SIM ok? =)

Ladies and gentlemen, i'd like to warn you all that in SIM there's bikers who are thieves as well. please be extra careful. today is a rainy day and i rode from work to school for afternoon lessons and my raincoat was stolen when i'm about to go home in the evening.

it's not difficult to leave a note since all of us are students. if you like my raincoat that much.. which is just a 30 bucks progrip rain coat from LAB, i don't mind donating it to you. but please spare a thought that it's also still raining out there and i'm stucked in school all thanks to the thief.

it's a cheap rain coat (in my context) but it's an integrity problem. it's not surprising that adults or late teenagers will resort to such measures of stealing other people's raincoat when they need it the most. as much as i'd like to curse the thief, i felt more sorry than angry that the person is attending school but unable to write a simple note saying,

"hey, i borrowed your raincoat please call me at this no. to get it back."

so much for an education with no morals. and lastly, i hope this person will live a long life and ride safe with my raincoat.

Seems like rainy days calls for rainy measures :cheeky:

Its just ironic when you can afford to study in SIM and ride a bike but cannot afford a raincoat :sian:

you referring to me or the thief?

sometimes it's just the pure laziness of people. they don't feel like bringing a raincoat even though it's a rainy day or they just got impatient after finishing their class in the morning and decide to "borrow" my rain coat after waiting for quite some time for the rain to stop.

anyway it's just the part where i approach my bike and found my raincoat and pants missing that's shocking. because i've done this kinda thing tonnes of times at a lot of places, including SIM, drying my raincoat and pants by laying them over my bike. but this is the very first time i lost it.

well at least it forced me to get a new one since the old one was kinda leaking abit.. my t-shirt had a wet patch when i reached school though.

i'm thinking of suggesting to SIM to get some shelving or locker system done where they can earn a bit of money for allowing motorist to keep their raincoat locked in those lockers for a small fee of 10cts to 20cts.

if not next time just bring my rain coat to class! can u imagine if there's like 10 riders in in one particular class and all laid their raincoats in the lecture hall.. it'll look dumb sia.

yeah~! thanks so much for organising this trip for us.. it's lucky for the few of us who could make it. reallie put our bike conditions to the test! but it's a beautiful day lor, fantastic weather (but BURNT badly sia! aiyo! pain!!)

so fun! but strangely, rk did not try to pick up any stones tho there were plenty in the corners.. (bloody scary sia! :giddy: ) glad i have 090s on!

Minor injuries include burn forearms, bruised bum from sitting so long, itchy neck from the sand. heh! but it's reallie fantastic! .. so fun. wat a brilliant first long-distance trip. hope there'll be many more to come!

Thanks dudu our man! :thumb: his girl, rk + shan and chrispy + ester for the wonderful company! it would never have been the same wifout u guys..

actually we went up kota tinggi town n its waterfall... seems tat all enjoyed the cooling water.. bends there are dangerous to play as its full of sand.. after the waterfall, we headed up to desaru beach where they had some fun splashing water n building sand castle.. :p

trunk rd riding aint the same as expressway riding.. :p

give some suggestion for next trip...

mersing(those who wan more trunk rd riding)

port dickson ( 80% e-way 20% trunk)

btw.. not bad guys.. we covered abt 300km this round... :thumb:

hope that the travelling speed is comfortable for all... :)

alpha: we thought u r at malacca...
