Hi Biker Brothers,

My Gilera is 'eating' fuel and engine oil, the workshop that I frequent says that I need to replace the block and piston. I ask him to just rebore and replace to oversize piston rings but he says it's not possible on a Gilera. Most workshop nowadays prefer to just replace engine parts rather than reconditioned or repair, cos probably, they'll earn more this way. They get to mark up the price of the new parts and also charge you on labour.

I've asked 3 different workshop in Tampines area and they all say the same thing, replace the block and piston.

I would appreciate if any Brothers here can recommend me a 'true' repair workshop. Thank you in advance.

P.S. Moderators please move this post if doesn't belongs here, thanks.
