Hi , i bought super four version s recently and a friend of my advised me to change coolant. i cant locate the coolant tank!! can anyone help me pls!! thanks

Hi , i bought super four version s recently and a friend of my advised me to change coolant. i cant locate the coolant tank!! can anyone help me pls!! thanks

 

the main coolant is just below than tank.

if you want to diy change your coolant,please dispose the used coolant in a proper way.

 

do it when the engine is cold

 

step 1

remove seat, left/right side board,gastank(remember to turn to off,pull out the fuel ling and vacuum line)

 

step 2

drain the coolant at the water pump screw.

 

step 3

remove the spare coolant reservoir,wash clean clean and put back

 

put back the water pump screw

 

step 4

flush the system twice using distilled water,put back the water pump screw

 

step 5

pour in your prefer coolant,make sure no air bubble in the system

 

step 6

top up the spare coolant reservoir(use a black tape to mark the point of top up)

 

if your radiator cap worn out,pls change.

 

after about 1 week of riding,check the spare coolant coolant reservoir level.

if it drop a bit just top up.

if drop too much,some where is leaking.
